Fantastic system
I purchased the MIXC irrigation system so i didn't have to rely on anybody to water our ever increasing array of pots and Hanging basket while we go on holiday.I've had to laugh at one review that its not suitable for installation by "Middle Class" people with soft hands as the connectors are quite fiddly.I'm not middle class neither am I manual labourer but I had no trouble fitting the system together, a jug of boiled water works wonders on this pipe to soften. Perhaps Middle class people don't read the instructions...I utilised a Diivoo WiFi Water Timer 3 Zones, Smart Sprinkler Timer with APP and its brilliant and works a treat, the schedules save me time and money by over watering the pots.Diivoo WiFi Water Timer 3 Zones, Smart Sprinkler Timer with APP

Great little set but only one 'stop end blank'
Great little set. I needed to add my own garden hose to reach from garden tap to green house. As I have 2 greenhouse, I had to cut the larger black feed tube in half and buy some hose splitters to make 2 seperate systems. They only supply one end stop, but got over that by plugging one with a short piece of 15mm copper pipe with a normal 15mm end stop on that. So this system is designed to be used as one continuous feed system but can be adapted into 2 seperate systems. The micro tubes are not user friendly. Almost impossible to get onto the nipples, and boiling water a must to soften them. Once softened, they go on quite easily, but once cooled, they don't really shrink and so put them on as carefully as possible, at a 90 degree push, to minimum little leaks.

Flexible, durable irrigation system (so far, year two).
I have just installed the third tranche of irrigation in the garden, and I find the kit effective and good value for money. I did the last two last year. Winter is best for me as I can see what I'm doing. I would probably enjoy the set-up process better if it were not for the arthritis in my hands, but using near-boiling water to soften the pipes, I got there. I would have liked a clear pathway for me to order additional bits and pieces, but I guess that's not their business model. There is however, enough in the bag to be getting on with. I also bought some sleeves to help bury or tidy bits of it.

Exactly what you need for all your borders and tropicals
The media could not be loaded. I bought this kit recently as I needed to find a way to ensure my garden (with a few species of particularly thirsty plants) will be quenched - in the summer months. The kit comes with: one main larger diameter hose (probably around the same diameter as a uk standard hose pipe) then a load more smaller diameter pipe for the branch lines, along with all the fittings, heads (mist head, spray head and shower head) that you could possibly need.I would say make sure you plan your route out carefully as if you imagine it like a motorway, then the lines are all A roads and the individual plants are B roads. I found it was better to work backwards from the destination plants.I was dubious about the capacity of the main hose to supply the number of destinations I have in my garden so I made sure to use the main hose as much as possible, then minimise the number of heads on each line.I didn't need to worry as (you will see in my video) the system has covered my entire plot with ease, so much so- that I added more heads to each line. I have used mostly misters (orange ones) but a few shower and other ones here and there. My verdict is that this product is accurate to the description, it can be used unbelievably effectively with careful utilisation and is excellent value.

It’s simple to do and very very effective
We were going on holiday and I decided at the beginning of the year that I would transform my small terrace garden into something filled with flowers, roses and also vegetables. As it approached going away and the news that a heatwave was going to hit the UK I was terribly concerned that all of the work and money that I’d spent would be wasted and my garden wouldn’t survive so I decided to get an irrigation system. This one seemed the best value and needed to cover a high number of planters, pots and the garden itself.I was so worried that it would be hard to plan out and what I needed to put where, never mind the thought of would it work and how hard it was to put together. I didn’t need to worry, it was simple, straightforward and didn’t take me long to install all of the nozzles and attachments as well as a timer. It’s the best thing that I’ve done and now it will remain in place forever. Saves me having to go round night after night when it’s hot and water which takes a good half an hour. Now I just leave it to do it’s thing and my garden is blooming.

Works well but fiddly to assemble
I have a couple of hints for setting the irrigation system up. Warm the tubing up when you fit the connectors. I used a heat gun on low heat, but you could use a hair dryer or hot water. I used it to replace my old tubing and sprinkler system in our small greenhouse, which uses a recycled shower pump and valve to power it. It is fed from three water butts through an industrial-size filter. Obviously without the filter, particles from the greenhouse roof in the rain water would clog the small nozzles. The other hint is to split the tubing in two halves, one each side of the greenhouse. This evens out the flow. I have the system on a timer.

A comprehensive kit of home garden irrigation parts.
Application: potted flowers and vegtables in pots and troughs. A very good election of drip feeders with firm fit. However, recommend firstly, softening tube in hot water and have a good grip, use a small washing flannel for grip. Generous lengths of tubing, but Plan before you start installing; plan as you install and problems will arise. Advised to use the 8 hole dripper as a preference to minster as ministers in some instances minsters can encourage mould. This, meant a further purchase of 8 hole drippers. The outcome to date is as planned. Plan, ensure all tubing connection are pushed on fully and you should not be disappointed with the produc. A Rainpoint Timer, 2 Zone is used with the equipment supplied in the Kit.
