This is a review of the black 15" table lamp with the exposed gold socket.I purchased this wanting to use it with a smart bluetooth bulb for my desk. When I received this, it required assembly -- basically screwing the vertical shaft into the base as well as the gold socket. Unfortunately, to actually screw these together, you have to twist the power cable in the shaft to the point where it is under enough stress that it wants to unscrew the lamp assembly while it attempts to untwist itself. This is obviously a safety issue, since the two-conductor AC cord isn't really meant to be twisted like this.The base came with a thin bottom cover was partially detached -- it is just a felt-covered adhesive plastic sheet that is stuck to the metal base. In an attempt to fix the coiled cord, I peeled the felt cover further back and revealed that they had stuffed the backing paper from the adhesive cover inside in an attempt to protect the power cable from getting damaged from the end of the shaft mount. I managed to manually untwist the power cable with the felt cover removed, however the tight bend in the power cable running past the end of the shaft bushing is another obvious potential for becoming an electrocution or fire hazard.Once I had everything screwed together and the power cable issue sorted out, the lamp ended up being wobbly due to the shaft bushing in the base not being fully tightened at the factory.

This is definitely worth the price! Everywhere that has comparable styles is double the price so this is a great dupe/cheaper optionI used a Philips globe light with frosted glass and it looks great! I also paired it with another sconce that I got on amazonDon’t forget! It doesn’t come with a bulb

I use this lamp with a grow light for my plants. I love it! I like the minimalistic style and the fact that it hangs very low so the bulb can be close to my plants. That said, I propped my lamp base up on a box because with the bulb it was actually too low (in my pic, the base of the lamp is right behind the top of the terrarium). If you use a normal bulb instead of a chunky grow bulb you might not have this problem, but be aware that this is not a tall lamp so the bulb will hang low.

Great aesthetically pleasing lamp. Item description says it does not come with bulb. You will have to purchase your own. Mine did not come broken and seems to be sturdy. If yours is delivered broken you should call customer service and they would love to return it for you. Also read a review that said this lamp is not bright enough. Let me educate that that factor is determined by the lumens in the lightbulb you purchase separately and does not actually have anything to do with the lamp. I actually bought a lightbulb and it was so bright I had to return it and get another dimmer one to place in it.

I used the biggest bulb I could find...10”. It’s perfect for where I wanted to put it, just ordered another because I love the look so much👍

I already had a set of these, but my 2-year old knocked one over and the lamp shade cracked so easily. Finding a replacement shade has been the biggest pain ever. This is a style of shade without a harp (UNO fitting) making this tough to find a proper replacement for, since they come in different sizes; two I tried from big box stores (Home Depot & Target) were both too small. I went to a lamp store, I could have bought the UNO adapter to take a harp, a new shade and new top piece - FOR $75 PER LAMP.At that point, I found these on Amazon (not my original purchase for the first set). For the price, I just bought two new lamps (for the price of converting just one, and still came out cheaper) and used the shades to save myself the cost of upgrading to a harp style shade. I'm sure I could have bought all of the conversion pieces on Amazon and a shade for less than $75 - but it may have been close, as a quality lamp shade isn't the cheapest.Overall, we love the lamps themselves, with the nice USB port on the side that is barely noticeable. However, just be aware the shade is not the highest of quality and will likely crack if it falls over.

So nice for my nightstand! Minimalistic and goes well with black furniture and white bedclothes. I love having a pull chain. No more groping and fumbling for a switch. And the way the base is open is just perfect for me to put my phone and my glasses. That way they don't get knocked off the nightstand by accident. This lamp uses a 60 watt bulb which is not overly bright but certainly adequate for reading in bed.

Love the look of this lamp so much that we also bought the matching floor lamp. My only complaint is that the switch for the lamp is on the cord instead of on the lamp itself. We ended up wrapping the cord around the lamp a little to make the switch accessible while we’re still sitting at the desk (instead of having to fish for the cord whenever we need the switch). We paired this lamp with a round Edison bulb and the whole look is very modern and industrial.

Super happy with this purchase. Love the switch to turn on/off. You do have to play around with light bulbs though. To find the perfect brightness for what you need. As it doesn't have a dimmer it can be too bright or not enough (but that's the bulb)Great lamp & modern !

Quite impressed with these cute side lamps. Very sleek design and modern. Would purchase again and recommend to others!
