@ $24.99 it's prob not that bad, but over that price no way. The lock up is 100%. There are some serious knives out there for around that price and good quality. Example 'FLISSA'

The cold steel verdict is authentic. I love it. I paid for less money buying it on Amazon opposed to the cold steel website.I buy all my cold steel knives on Amazon'. Furthermore, Amazon sells cold steel knives and also on the cold steel website. However, Amazon sells for far less.

I like the knife in every way except for one flaw, which I take to be a quality control issue: about the first inch of the blade, measured from the tip, did not have a good edge. The other two inches of the blade, though not razor sharp, cut the edge of a page of newspaper pretty smoothly; but the first inch of the knife blade was either not ground correctly, or was not sharpened correctly. I had to work on it a bit to sharpen it.

The steel in this knife is much better quality than my other two Buck knife made in the USA.Hold sharp edge much longer.

The media could not be loaded. This is my go to everyday carry knife. For light work and ease of carry.PROS: Thin profile makes it barely noticeable in the pocket. It has a deep pocket clip that is reversible it only weighs 2.5 oz it comes in a variety of blade styles and colors the handle is grippy enough and you have that peace of mind with the super strong Triad lock.I own a lot of folding knives and this one hits the mark for me.CONS: not the best blade steel and not the best grip on handle but keeps it within an affordable price range.

The cold steel verdict and 4116 krupp stainless steel is made in Taiwan and for the money is one of the best EDC knives you can buy. For $25 that you can pick these up for you really can't ask for more knife than this it's extremely lightweight has The Rock Solid Triad lock has a beautiful drop point blade with a very nice Stone wash finish on it a fantastic Factory Edge out of the box which is commonplace with cold Steels made in Taiwan. It carries nicely it's very comfortable in hand it is a little thick on The Cutting geometry but not too bad so it still slices pretty nicely and it's just an all-around fantastic knife for the money and one that will be extremely hard to beat for $25. The 4034 stainless steel version is nowhere is near as good as the 4116 version is and luckily this is the 4116 version so it's the one you want that's not to say 4034 stainless steel is not a pretty decent steel it is for the money but 4116 performs significantly better and it's sharpens extremely nicely on pretty much any abrasive whatsoever so even like your $10 Walmart sharpening stones if you have the skills we'll put a very very nice Edge on this steel. In case you can't tell by what I've already said yes I absolutely love this knife and I absolutely suggest it it's a knife that's very recommended by me and one that I have probably made cold still a lot of sales from my recommendations on and it really is that good of a knife.
