Brilliant
The ninja dual zone Air fryer has a huge 7.6 L total capacity. There is two individual baskets which are 3.8 L each. It has six programs, which are Air fry, roast, bake, dehydrate, Max crisp and reheat. If you are only going to use one of the baskets then zone one is the default zone to cook with, but what I particularly like about this is that for instance you can air fry at 200° in zone one for 30 minutes and you can roast in zone two at 180° for 20 minutes at the same time by pressing sync and then start. This will start zone one and when it reaches the 20 minute timer zone two will come off of hold and start roasting. If you remove the basket such as for chips to give them a shake, then the timer will pause until The basket is re-inserted and if both zones are cooking it will pause both timers. The other option that I really like which is nice and easy and can maximise your output if you’re cooking the same thing, For example if you had to Air fryer 1.5 kg of chips. Then place your chips in both baskets and on the zone one display enter in your temperature timer and press match then start. This will duplicate all of the information to zone two, Which makes it easy and super efficient. The max crisp is set at 240° and this is the only function that The temperature can’t be changed, and it could be set to a maximum time of 30 minutes. The air fryer function can be set between 150 and 210° and has a time range between 1 minute to 1 hour. The roast function allows you to use the ninja as a conventional oven which has a temperature range of 120 to 210° and has a timer that can be set from one minute to four hours. The reheat function has a temperature setting of 130 to 210° and can be set from 1Minute to One hour. The dehydrate function allows you to gently remove moisture from meat, vegetables and fruits. This temperature can be set between 40 to 90° and has a set time of up to 12 hours allowing you to create healthy snacks. The bake function means that you don’t have to wait the usual 10 to 15 minutes that your conventional oven would take to pre-heat Which is perfect if you just want to knock up a quick dessert. The temperature setting is 120 to 210° and has a time range between 1 minute to 4 hours. This ninja air fryer is super easy to clean, compare to my previous Tower Air fryer baskets. Overall we are very satisfied with our purchase as it has so many functions, Not just an air fryer. I hope you have found my review helpful.

Totally delighted with my new Ninja
This arrived 5 days ago and I’ve used it every day since. Not my first rodeo with an air fryer, I’ve had an air fryer oven for 4 years and wasn’t sure about getting a second air fryer but, when the family are here, I felt I needed more cooking space. I was dubious about buying one with drawers as my “oven” has three shelves that give me a lot of scope when cooking. However, after just a few days, I’ve come to the conclusion that they compliment each other really well and I will definitely use both. The AF oven is great for things like pieces of fresh fish (they can be tricky to turn in the Ninja without breaking) and pies but the Ninja comes into its own with things I consider need shaking - chips, roast potatoes, home coated chicken pieces, roasted veg, home breaded courgettes, etc., saves me turning them and this Ninja cooks plenty in one go.I decided to buy a couple of silicone liner baskets so I can put marinated meats/fish/veg in it without risking making too much mess. So far, so good. I also invested in some paper liners for “messy” food but I haven’t tried them yet.I found it easy to get to grips with the controls, the Ninja instructions were quite clear but, if you struggle, there are plenty of very clear demonstrations on You Tube. I’m loving that you can either match the drawers or use them in completely different ways and at different temperatures (air fry, bake, etc) and then sync so the food is ready at the same time. Early days yet but the non stick coating seems to be excellent quality and the drawers are very easy to clean.Delighted with my purchase and, when it’s on offer again, I intend to buy one for my son.

So happy we took the plunge
We debated whether air-fryers are just a gimmick, but we are glad we took the plungeI don’t think you should make this purchase based on economics as the cost of the machine will make a fairly long payback in energy saving (although there definitely is in terms of size of space being heated and a shorter heating time)For us, it’s great when kids are busy with after school activities to quickly heat something up. Simple to use and hasn’t needed much cleaning (we use oven tray inserts)The dual cupboards come in handy when cooking different things for fussy eaters, and a good amount of space to cook for 2, maybe 3. But you would struggle to make enough in one go for more than thatA nice addition to our kitchen utensils but ithe price tag may put people off

Early impressions
So used this twice so far since arriving yesterday and first impressions are wow, no oil used at all, cooked mcains french fries in one drawer and salt and pepper shredded chicken in the other using the match setting 180c for 10 minutes both cooked perfectly nice crispy outers, then cooked bacon this morning 8 minutes on max crisp turning halfway through nice crispy bacon without being burnt, took 3 minutes to clean just some soapy water and a soft cloth cleaned no problems, size wise on par with a microwave and makes about a such noise as a microwave, will try more going to do a peppered grill steak in it tonight but I think this will be used most nights and the oven will be a bit part player.

Excellent but takes a bit of getting used to.
Have you noticed that no food manufacturers describe how to cook the produce in an Air Fryer? You would have thought that they would get onto this given how many of these have been sold in the last year. Anyway, the point is that there is a fair bit of trial and error using an air fryer in the early weeks. Results can often be over or under done depending on what setting you try. But the technology and simplicity of use are worth persevering with. We regularly cook using the Air Fry (rather than the Roast) option because it is so efficient. Chips are easy but tray bakes also come out very well so long as you stir / shake part way through the process.Cleaning is a doddle once finished. Simply dispose of any excess fat and then pop in the dishwasher. All good.
