Q: Will this fit a size 3x

Not at all. I am a size 16 and while it fit me up top fine I have really big legs in a large but in all it did was write up. It does not fit like a dress but more like a long T-shirt. Do not get this if you are bottom heavy as it will not be comfortable

Q: what is length back of neck to hem?

Hi. I laid the garment out on the bed. The measurement from center back neck to hem is 36 inches. I have washed it two times. This is a good length for me, I am 5'2". Hope this is helpful.

I am 4'11 and 170 and it fits. I do not think it will fit you unless you are tall. It does stretch.

I'm 5'6 170 so fit me perfect. Will be longer on you probably to mid calf. If you like big t shirt nightgowns would be perfect for you.
