Very authentic leading look!
The media could not be loaded. Love this item. I created a great stained glass looking piece for a family member for Christmas and she loved it. I’m going to do a much larger piece so this was a precursor and it went perfectly. Love this leading look.

Nice product and easy to use
I'm so impressed. I wasn't sure how using this was going to go, but it was actually really easy to use. It cuts easily with regular scissors and is easy to apply. It's repositionable. I wouldn't move it around a lot,or say that you could use it one place and then move it and use it some where else later, but it can be shifted until you get it where you want it. It's fairly sticky and I think it's going to stay well where I put it. It's also fairly flexible and curved nicely around the glass I was wrapping it around. The kit comes with a stick to help press it into place. The stick was super helpful. Use both ends! I used this to update three boring builder grade flush mount lights in my kitchen and have about 2 feet left over. I'm seriously considering ordering more and updating the rest of the lights in my house now. :) The picture is my final product of what I did with it.

Faux stained glass
I’ve been working on faux stain glass and this tape came in so handy, it gave my window a look of authentic cut glass.

Excellent product----replacement for the now extra poor quality Gallery Glass Redi-Lead Strips
About a year ago Gallery Glass radically reduced the quality of their faux lead Redi-Lead strips..............In looking for a replacement, I tried the Pebeo Vitrail product and it works terrific. .........first, the downside...it is real lead, so it is heavier (a factor for me as some of my projects are Christmas tree ornaments); it is also more expensive, though not outrageously so. Now the BENEFITS.......1) the adhesive is significantly stronger; 2) it is real lead--so it stays the way you end it...i.e. when you lay it down it doesn't "try" to move back up (making the adhesion that much better); 3) at seams, it can be overlapped instead of cut (if you want to); 4) it is thicker than the current redi-lead strips (more like they used to be). It is a little trickier to use--but I suspect that will pass with constant use. BOTTOM LINE.........DEFINITELY TRY THIS PRODUCT

Looks authentic but a bit difficult to separate the strands and manipulate on curves.
This is my first time using this self adhesive Lead strip and I did have some difficulty manipulating it on curves and getting it to stick to the glass but it looks nice and more authentic than other materials that I have found. Splitting the two sides of this material is difficult if you want the lines to look really even and I ended up doing a lot of edge trimming with a knife. I tried cutting the center seam with an Exacto knife which was time consuming and rather difficult but that produced the best results. It was much easier to cut and separate this with scissors but that left an extra little edge where the seam is between the two pieces that then that had to be trimmed again. When I just pulled the two pieces apart, the strands curled and left a ragged looking edge that needed to be trimmed plus the adhesive protection strip came off of one strand. The adhesion to glass was good on some pieces, mainly the long strips, but not so great on the short pieces. I did solder all of the joints once I got them in place and there were minimal issues with that. I plan to clean the solder joints up a bit further with a Dremmel tool and that does concern me a bit because of the lead content of this product. This product contains real Lead so there are dangers to using it and constant hand washing is a must. I wear gloves when working with it. Overall, this product works pretty well and looks really authentic but it is a bit difficult to separate the two strands evenly, difficult to manipulate the strands on curves, and the adhesion is not consistent on the glass.

Perfect!
I used this product on a she shed/.guest house door to add a little more privacy. The lead lines are pretty easy to use but they do bend super easy. To get a straight line I had to work it all the way down and as I was applying it to the window. I am happy with it and came back to buy 2 more for the other windows on the shed!

Follow the instructions and go slow for a polished finish.
Repaired a broken stain glass I purchased in Mexico and no one can even notice. Looks like it was as planned. Beautiful pantry door insert.

The best real stained glass look.
I am a professional Artist. I have a customer who wanted stained glass but for the size of the project didn't what to pay the high price for the real deal. I told them I'd give it a try and went on the hunt for a product that would look and feel like stained glass. After Purchasing other products such as tubed glues and the like, i was very dissatisfied with the results that looked childish.I stumbled upon this stuff and it is perfect. It is actually lead with adhesive. Once you peel the backing off and stick it to the glass, it stays. Also you can solder it to give it that real look. My only wish would be for the price to have more product. Large projects can run into some money. I am very satisfied with this product and would recommend it.
