I have never found the need to collar or suit a male cat post neutering. They heal really fast and only one of my boys ever played with his stitches. He managed to pull one out but the Vet told me to let him be and check up on the healing in a few days. he healed just fine.\nI am on my 4th Male cat who was neutered at 2yrs old as he was a stray; he never seemed to bother with his stitches. Ver small amount of shrinkage but still fitted the cats. Cats dry to scratch them off using their hind legs, so mine are a bit damaged (torn) near the bottom end of the fitting.
